Help build something worth preserving.
A British sanctuary built around faith, heritage, capability and independence begins with one essential asset: the land.
An indicative target to acquire suitable land and establish the foundations of a strong, independent, heritage-led sanctuary.
This figure is a working ambition, not a final budget or funding commitment. Actual requirements will depend on the location, land price, legal conditions, planning advice and the scale of initial infrastructure.
Pre-launch · Funding plan under developmentTrust must be built into the plan.
We would seek support in defined phases, with visible outcomes and clear decisions before each significant commitment.
Land ownership and public benefit.
The current intention is for the land to be privately owned by the founder. That is a significant fact for anyone considering a donation, grant or sponsorship.
Before accepting public funding, the project must clearly explain how money would be held and used, what supporters receive (if anything), how any community-benefit activities are protected, and what happens if the project does not proceed.
We will not describe the project as a registered charity unless and until it qualifies and is formally registered. No investment returns are being offered.
Frequently asked questions.
Does the sanctuary already own land?
No. The project is in its initial concept and land-feasibility stage.
Can I donate now?
No donation facility is active on this draft site. Funding and ownership terms need to be settled first.
Is the Sanctuary Project a registered charity?
No claim of charitable registration is made. The future legal and governance structure is still under review.
Would the founder own the land?
That is the present intention. We will disclose the structure and how public-benefit commitments would operate before opening any public fundraising.
What if planning approval is refused?
The acquisition strategy should include appropriate due diligence and, where possible, conditional purchase mechanisms. A future campaign must describe its contingency and refund arrangements in its terms.
